CHIRPSTR ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user of the CHIRPSTR mobile application and website.

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information — your email address and display name when you create an account
• Profile photo — if you choose to upload an avatar
• Audio recordings — voice clips ("chirps") you record within the app
• Device information — push notification tokens used to deliver alerts to your device
• Purchase information — subscription status processed through Apple's in-app purchase system (we do not store payment card details)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the CHIRPSTR service
• To store and play back your audio chirps during runs
• To send push notifications you have opted into
• To manage your subscription and access level
• To respond to your support requests
• To improve the app based on usage patterns

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate CHIRPSTR:

• Supabase — database, file storage, and authentication
• Firebase (Google) — push notification delivery
• Apple — in-app purchases and Sign in with Apple

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. Audio recordings are stored in private buckets accessible only to your account. We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information and audio recordings will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

CHIRPSTR is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of push notifications at any time via your device settings

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of CHIRPSTR after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
